Excited 2009 to 2010 firmware success :)


refurbished 2009 8 core 2.26 arrived yesterday. did firmware update make 5,1. gonna drop pair of x5670's or higher in & enjoy power & stability.

looking forward making music on machine. peace :)
 

for 2009 model, x5690 straight away if possible (they not expensive now). it's not fun upgrade processors if not de-lidded. imo, out of single upgrade better choice on particular cpu upgrade.
