Resolved Bad App from the website `MacUpdate´?


hi

little concerned on happened:
looking program/app imac tell me iphone-battery-health , found ibackupbot on macupdate.com, heard trustworthy site.
after ran installer there no program found. neither launchpad nor appcleaner can find it.
did caught virus/malware?
(maybe i`m overly cautious, mac , running usual. turned on firewall , after restart presented request "netbiosd" blocked, though quick googlesearchs says harmless. located in /usr/sbin/)
can provide download link if helps
i´d grateful or advice

i've been using macupdate million years (more or less); in last year, many downloads bring own installer...like they're pushing buy plan, , use custom installer update apps.

got generic package icon? it's that. sometimes, when try again, actual app installer downloads. if can't it, there's developer link take site app comes from...and can download there. nuisance...
