1980's robot voice reading out Reminders


does know how turn off 1980's sounding robot voice reads out reminder notices on imac?

excuse french, it's been pissing me off ages.

when wake mac , log on read out these reminders, if i've received notices on ipad or iphone.

don't want stop receiving or syncing reminders imac, can handy set them while using computer. don't want stephen hawking's american cousin reading them out me.... @ full volume if had been watching film etc on imac when last using it.

not computer geek, have searched on settings etc , cannot find 'disable robot voice' options.


in advance.


edit: should add imac on latest osx version, , ipad & iphone on latest ios too....
 

is possible have voiceover enabled in accessibility options?
