Need help managing Photos


dear community, trying figure out couple of things related photo management on macbook pro , questions:
1. when import photos iphone mac go user-->photos-->photo library. problem is, cannot select library folder , cannot synchronise iphone if want to. cannot access these photos copy them or edit them. library folder. can access each , every photo individually in folder?

2. seems have many duplicate photos. there way clean them up?

it's finder woodoo, library. right click , select show package contents reveal folder structure.
