iPad mini retina won't update to iOS 9


hi all,

i'm keen update ios 9, , don't envisage hardware having problems running it. however, i've tried multiple times make upgrade, without success. can download software fine, stage @ ipad gets stuck after running 'loading' bar, goes loop apple logo on black screen. doesn't change whether download software on ipad alone or whether plug laptop , through itunes.

ideas?!
 

do backup (with password!) in itunes, put ipad in dfu-mode , update ios 9 way.
afterwards can restore backup.

saw happening on ipad air 1 of father, couldn't update ios 9 using "normal" ways. dfu-mode update worked fine. :)
