Redesigned iPhone Home Button (concept)


i've been thinking lot decided shrink down iphone 6s , "redesign" home button.

new home button pressure sensitive software button. work 3d touch. touch id sensor rectangular make sensor @ least large circular one.

main advantage of design make iphone smaller while retaining same screen size. new home button can more durable physical button. guys think? hope appreciate paint skills. :d
 

i think drawing off on scale if you're premise square touch id sensor give same scanning area circular 1 less height. while that, we're talking tenth of centimeter shorter rough calculations. (current sensor 0.9cm across, area of .64 square cm, square 0.8 cm on each side)

cut off same on top symmetry, , we're talking total of 0.2cm shorter.
