Transmit - replace or merge?


hello,
using trial version of transmit , thinking buy licence i'm confused. want upload files "admin" folder.
tried upload files , transmit asked me if want replace or merge files. clicked on replace , transmit deleted full "admin" folder!

previous used filezilla, there wasn't problem. filezilla slow (gui).

can me how add files existing folder on ftp?
 

doesn't read documentation when faced unfamiliar features? (we used say, rtfm, since these days there no manuals, needs rtfhd - read freakin' documents!)

offhand, i'd should have chosen merge.

i'm assuming dialog box asked if wanted "replace" or "merge" contents of folder or directory. web developers need option - need upload all-new version of web site (replace), need add additional content site (merge).
