iPad Pro Smart Connector Keyboards
why aren't there more of these available besides official apple smart keyboard , logitech create? have figured @ least belkin , logitech have been on , had numerous versions available now. , perfect time companies incipio/clamcase, brydge, , zerochroma release smart connector versions alongside bluetooth versions. getting tired in general of flaky nature of bluetooth ipad keyboards (i haven't used on yet doesn't start repeating characters or not registering characters) , hoping see real competition in area ipad pro released on 2 months ago.
apple holding technical data close chest in regard actual smart connector? know of keyboards have been announced haven't seen?
i don't know certain, speculation...
- apple may have prohibitively high licensing rights smart connector.
- companies may not want invest r&d developing keyboards using smart connector until sales figures released indicate how large market there is.
- companies may trying design keyboard brings new table beyond apple doing smart keyboard. (one of criticisms of ask single angle ipp... there may design work in progress allow multiple angles)
