El Capitan on iMac 20" 2009 (with 8gb RAM)?


hello, happy owner of 2009 20" imac has been running great snow leopard since bought it.

tempted each osx release, ended never upgrading. thing time tempted hearing how great el capitan , after experiencing os on retina macbook pro.

thing dont want imac affected performance wise. understand performance take toll, not sure if tolerable or ends making me cringe everytime use it.

so, without further ado, there similar imac owners have tried upgrading el capitan? prefer hear people stock hdds , not ssds. have upgraded memory 8gb interested how machine performs hdd.

appreciate feedback.

Apple HW Test error code -3403d
