Office 2016 High CPU Usage compared to 2011?


hi guys

quick question. on of machines running el capitan, i've noticed office 2016 apps real cpu hog compared office 2011. instance, word regularly jump 50% cpu usage whereas office 2011 @ normal 10/20% whilst typing.

same apps such excel , powerpoint.

has else noticed this? ask i'm pretty sure constant cpu hogging affecting battery life.

fixes or anything?
