(27-Inch, Mid 2001) Problems with Bootcamp & El Capitan


i can't bootcamp (6.0) install windows 7 on imac.

-optical drive stopped reading dvds read windows 7 disc (but cds fine, oddly enough). nvram , smc fixes don't work.

-can't install via usb. can't .plist edit because of new sip controls (and when disable it, , make edits, restart fails, because windows 7 can't find bootable usb).

-i had luck using winclone, it's torrent sketchy copy of windows 7 i'd rather not use

i've ran windows 7 on imac using bootcamp, i'm surprised not working now.
