A Tale of Two Laptops


so acquired 2 more laptops (bringing total 30 machines, 20 of macs!) yesterday user on here. got powerbook g3 pismo , pre-unibody first gen macbook pro core 2 duo processor. machines, clean them out. however, particularly going challenging restoration project. g3 on 2 side panels has giant stickers of glitter cover entire panels. removed stickers, it's left behind extremely sticky glitter on

far have tried use clorox wipes, (this use everything) did nothing, screwdriver, has worked best far, , nail polish remover, removed little, made room , entire house stink.

g3 missing hdd i'll supply. have yet test out, let alone plug in, not sure if it's working yet.

mbp doesn't need work, there things needs. on outside, machine in nice condition few dings in here , there. upon opening lid, looked pretty nice in there well, not exterior work other wiping down. on inside, have find hdd (which have once), odd (which have put in), , hdd interface/ir/status light cable missing too.

have yet turn on, because had wait battery charge 65w charger, , had charging overnight , charged up, i'll have test when home later.

other that, both computers smell cigarettes, i'm going trying few remedies alleviate smell them. low low price of free , $11 shipping, i'd did pretty well. once restorations done, can't wait mess around these machines. again user, hope reading this, sending them me!

need newer pre-unibody 15in , pre-unibody 17in , i'll happy, being love sizes on pbs. i'd think el capitan nice on big 17in laptop :d
 

sticky label remover should clear gunk check doesn't otherwise harm surface.
