Unable to receive email from Exchange account on mobile data


i wasn't sure put - i've posted in ios 9, i'm having same problem on macbook.

problem is: since sometime around last monday (25 jan) have been having trouble receiving email on work account (exchange). emails coming through straight away, whole day's worth of email being delayed. i've worked out problem seems when i'm using mobile data. i'm getting no error messages, emails aren't arriving. should mention have several other email accounts on devices (icloud, gmail etc.) working fine, seems exchange account.

spend of life using mobile data through iphone or separate mobile wifi hotspot, not receiving email becoming big problem. i've asked people @ work, don't seem know.

isn't signal strength issue - have 30mb/s 4g connection.

has else had problem or know of solution?
 

are using default mail app?
