Square Trade or Apple Care


i getting i7 imac 5k next week , wanted know if should purchase apple care or square trade it. student can apple care @ discounted rate, square trade can give me year.

thoughts?
 

i have used both , both excellent. apple care apple devices because have apple store close by. can make appointment , drop off. square trade have mail in although supposedly reimburse repair made @ apple store. have never tried it.

under apple care, have had iphone repair took hour. , laptop repair took 4 days.

under square trade, have had acer laptop repaired took 4 days. had mail repair depot.

preference use apple care apple devices , square trade other stuff. if go square trade sure discount coupon. have them time.
