Do iMacs with discreet graphics use the integrated graphics adapter to save power


my late 2011 macbook pro used have used switch integrated graphics when not doing things required graphics chip in order save power. know don't have worry battery i'm still curious. know if imacs use integrated graphics when nothing using capabilities of gpu?
 

there's no way switch igpu on imacs. appears disabled in fashion
