Resolved iPhoto '09 assistance requested


my iphoto becoming less , less responsive , hoping here can me few suggestions. have 2 issues , ideas.

issue #1: every time open iphoto preferences app freezes , have force shut down.

issue #2: places feature, though imported pseudo fix member, super slow , makes perform slowly

ideas:

1. remove faces feature completely

2. remove places feature completely

3. pare down point basic photo library manager since don't use of features. want remove following: mobileme, facebook, flickr, email, book, calendar, , card options.

can of these things through iphoto preferences, since can't open without app freezing, need assistance safe removal of these features or @ least clarification on can/cannot do. in advance!
 

i not find way remove sidebar items faces , places, other items far facebook , mobile me easy. think mobileme causing freeze when opened preferences works perfectly. stopped searching shared libraries, , stopped sharing mine , loads pretty quickly.
