Overdriven Beats Studio Wireless?

so got these fantastic sounding beats studio wireless today, , i've been thrilled sound thought i'd load logic pro x hear how 1 of songs sounded on these cans.

reason heavily distorted bass line - sounded fine on imacs internal speakers prior getting these headphones - reason super overdriven when played through beats caused super loud incredibly high playback , distortion. stopped track.

question is: have had cause of damage these headphones? happened when connected via bluetooth, wouldn't dsp , fact it's wireless signal prevent actual drivers being overdriven vs. if connected directly headphone amp? finally, perhaps logic pro x distorting signal (and redlining, heavily) , headphones merely reproducing distortion, in actuality drivers , headphone totally fine?

beats dre headphone lines known have characteristic of having super emphasized bass end. they're listening, not mixing. computer's internal speakers tend opposite, have little bass compared to, example, desktop speakers have separate drivers bass , treble frequencies produce more balanced overall sound. imac's sound of course better laptop's, rich in treble. if you've been doing sound mixing imac's built-in speakers, because naturally lack full bass, might have punched in lot of bass start hearing of come out speakers. however, when play same mix more balanced frequency speakers, would've sounded overly boomy. when replay mix headphones have accented bass range... oh boy. because of this, i'd recommend not sound mixing on headphones or speakers heavily accentuate frequency ranges, because nasty surprises when playing on other output devices.
don't know if there's system there prevent overdriven signal reaching headphone output; audio output devices meant listening sounds mixed "don't go red", aren't built producing more physically can. ignore personal opinion on sound when listening imac's speakers. @ visual meters indicating outgoing signal's strength – in red zone? if you're in red, culprit in music/sound itself, , should adjust until stays in safe range, green or yellow. listen , shouldn't distort.
