Vlc on apple tv


i wonder if can copy avi or mkv video files mac apple tv , see them on television
 

maybe developers create more capable media player atv apps, vlc, if they're able? it's right now.

in meantime, beamer mac works "air playing" avi , mkv , other movie files on apple tv. , subler works converting mkv mp4 files (it needs covert "container" mkv files because , mp4 files share same x264 codec, it's not intensive or process-heavy conversion).

2 options use work quite well.
