Xcode font size in the file browser/docs

under preferences->fonts & colors, can change fonts this doesn't change things in rest of xcode including documentation , file list browser.

tried osx system fonts , tinkertool.app, no luck. ctrl+ doesn't work.

there way change fonts in of xcode, not source code part? thanks.

xcode 6.3

some thoughts.

afaik, xcode documentation doc sets (google xcode doc set).

ref:
https://developer.apple.com/library.../findingandviewingdeveloperdocumentation.html

doc sets have package/bundle structure, , contain various resources (files, sub-dirs, etc.) presenting docs.

actual doc content of xcode doc sets html. if inside bundle installed xcode doc set, should able see html resources. try it, see find.

html can styled using css. following: html in existing doc set contain css style sheets? if so, embedded in html files directly, or there separate css style sheet files referenced multiple html files?

if html contains css, either embedded or referencing separate css file, edit , see if styling change appears in xcode doc viewer.

if doc set has separate css files, edit them styling changes want. if css embedded in html files, factor out file, change html reference it, , see if works.

if html contains no css, experiment discover if xcode doc viewer apply css styling. can simple changing page background color of 1 html file using embedded css. can make content change @ same time, e.g. add "fnord" first paragraph, , confirm content changes.

if works, i.e. changes color in doc viewer, next experiment reference external css style sheet html file. i'd start relative url, might not matter.

if external css style sheet works, can put desired css style sheet(s) in common location, either in /users/shared/ or in ~/library/ folder. wouldn't expect doc viewer expand ~/ correctly, part challenge unless care 1 user.

if works, can make css file , add references in every html file of doc set. writing program add css reference better solution editing every file manually.

xcode doc viewer may have cache. if happens, change html file, in either styling or content, may not reflected in doc viewer displays. if happens, may have find cache on disk , purge it. or maybe quitting suffices (a non-persistent cache).

doc set may signed. don't know if xcode check signatures after doc sets installed, or whether it's installer need proper signature. if signature needed in ongoing way (xcode checks), that's going pita. if signatures unchecked after installation, changes html, css, , doc sets simpler.

have not tried of this. it's line of thought , exploration starting xcode doc sets. experimentation needed. batteries not included.
