Hacked a iBook battery to work in PowerBook G4


so never use g3 due lack of power. it's more of desktop since don't bring me either.

since pbg4 doesn't have battery, decided better put use in that. plan take powerbook me school,etc. of know nupower batteries expensive, don't have 80+ shell out.

idea popped in head, why not use g3 battery in g4. proceeded take apart battery till left internals.

battery fit snug in battery compartment. started seal it. didn't have electrical tape used metal tape, lightbulbfun pointed out short out battery needed insulate it. took old video game case , cut out plastic fit battery compartment.

dirty job done. realize took apart fine battery. means, rant feel better sitting around doing nothing. selling process due parents. , here's end result.

in all, feels solid , not loose.

aware it's not pretty don't care long portable.
