burning or copying photos to cd


i've installed osx10.11.1 mid2010 imac. have no external disc drive, 1 internal imac.

i'm trying copy disc of photos received on dvd.

put disc in , choose 'burn x disc' , told put in disc, has sufficient capacity. when eject original , put in new disc seems there's not buffer file burn from.

downloaded pics photo , in photo there's no 'burn cd' option. have empty disc in drive , try drag , drop won't work either. tried same desktop file photos in it, still no joy.

tried disc utility same results.

can't find new el capitan online or searching macrumors.

questions are,
how copy cd/dvd? can el capitan or need app?

how copy pics photo cd?

try might still can't find photos folder in finder. in finder have pictures. in pictures can find iphoto library, no photo library, might find photo files?

unfortunately apple removed disk burning disk utility can in finder.

1. copy pictures folder in imac.
2. insert empty cd/dvd imac.
3. drag pictures cd/dvd.
4. open cd/dvd , choose burn disc.

haven't tested if photos supports burning because it's infuriatingly limited compared iphoto.
