hey have been encountering problem kind of hard describe in 1 line. here long version: have airport time capsule , 3 external hdds attached via usb hub. both hub , external drives power plug, airport not have provide in respect. when access these drives via network, e.g. want watch movie stored on 1 of drives, click on time capsule in finder, access hard drive. starts spin takes few seconds. folder/file tree stored , can browse hard drive while it's still spinning up. while spins up, navigate file want access. , here comes problem: when hard drive can accessed , open movie, can't so, because "corrupted". other files work intended. navigate before drive accessible can not accessed. solve issue, have restart drive, wait everything, , navigate file. annoying since bought new apple tv, , when browse itunes library of machine (which has external files in library) can't view movie. other files work. 1 navigated during spin-up not work.

i use airport express(aiex) , non-airprint printer(usb only,not in list) connected it.i able print printer mbp , imac, ipad doesn't recognise printer @ all. why so? as see it, aiex printing here,not computers .when prints going through aiex,it means aiex giving appropriate print command printer.then ipad should able send document router , aiex should able print it. why doesn't happen?   i'm afraid that's not how works. laptop doing printing, airport routes information printer. can install app on ipad , laptop can print via app - use readdle's printer pro. other options available. other option buy airprint enabled printer.   Forums iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch iPad iPad Tips, Help and Troubleshooting

we have 2 imacs running el capitan , 2012 mac mini running mavericks. 3 machines saw each other fine (the other 2 showed in each machine's finder side bar) upgraded mac mini (after making cc clone of it) , when came - no longer accessible 2 imacs. have tried connecting directly via it's ip (via finder - connect server ) , times out. mac mini can see other 2 machines fine - can not see it. (the 2 imacs appear in mac mini's finder side bar - not appear in theirs) (and yes - can access imacs fine mac mini...) before biting bullet , reverting mavericks (and hoping fixes things) have other suggestions? use mac mini our media server - , use screen sharing add files etc.   have checked sharing , security settings on mac mini?   Forums Macs macOS
