hi all, new development , need test compiling , installing vlc onto ios device. downloaded source, , ipa file vlc ftp server, , when try install normal means - using itunes, apple configurator 2, or xcode, fails appears signing errors. in paid apple ios developer program, , test device's uuid registered successfully. unsure missing - need enterprise developer account, or should able install ipa using personal developer account? or perhaps may not possible this. doing learning process , intend on learning more coding, ios device management, etc. vlc icon appears on device dimmed, not launch, , when invoked changes "installing" appreciated!   it's unlikely installing random ipa file on device work. don't know vlc is. there project builds app? if have should able build xcode , load onto device using team signing credentials. did try that?

hi, yes, in topic. if macbook running slow time time, clean them. in os x under heavy load mouse cursor tend slow down , kernel process went on 100%. in bootcamp windows 10 under heavy load, macbook switching off (guess prevent damage). it's macbook pro 15" 2011, updated ram 16gb. unscrew bottom bit , unscrew vents (without disconnecting little vents power cable). , clean air tunnels, you'll see them after lifting vents. i've missed when cleaning macbook before. , difference makes ! please see "how to" online , careful when cleaning. hope helps someone.   when replaced battery earlier year, used can of compressed air blow bottom out. dime sized piece of lint came between blades of fan. didn't notice how loud laptop until turned on after cleaned.   Forums Macs

hello everyone. @ next stage of ipad decision. may have heard discussion in other threads, last week upgraded (after deliberation ) ipad air 1 ipad mini 4. enjoying mini 4; super light , portable great. however, still bit hesitant decide 100% on mini 4. when first opened 1 of textbooks (which use everyday homeschool) bit surprised @ small text size when viewing page @ regular size w/o zoom. have gotten more used smaller text size , can use books fine, , of course when zoomed in fine (i read zoomed in on air 1 anyway) ; got me thinking bit more air 2. aside textbooks, use ipad browsing web, reading news, checking email, youtube, playing games, listening music, , browsing photos. guess biggest thing making me consider air 2 bigger screen. know experience more immersive, , guess tough decide if want immersive screen or lighter form factor. big thing keeping me getting air 2 thought of being updated march; buying @ point if new 1 released in march not smart

hi everyone, can guys give me advice on how configure disks? i'm switching windows workstation mac pro 5,1. i'm running 2 3tb drives in raid0 , 2 other 3tb drives in raid0. both raids used storage , backed on 2 other systems. have format 4 disks have te opportunity configure them in different way: 1 raid0 containing 4 disks or raid5 containing 4 disks, leaving me less storage space, won't lose time rebuilding raid in case of 1 disk failure (right?). or should stay current setup (two separate raid0's?). system used (heavy) video editing including high resolution footage. if choose raid0 4 disks in it, assume fastest read , write speeds if work on 1 project @ same time. on regular working day i'm not doing 1 project, meanwhile i'm exporting project, copying/ingesting files , on. looking forward advice!   you cannot rebuild raid0 disk set. need restore backup.
