hey there, all. name susan. i've started administering server in our photo studio , i've run problem. i'm hoping can me. have newest os x server software running on yosemite on macmini. server manages file sharing. of client machines in office yosemite except 2 windows 7. of two, 1 uses file sharing. here problem. when creates folder windows machine, nobody else can delete or modify folder. set od, , there several different od users. if 1 of od users makes directory in sharepoint, can add files, delete files, rename things, make folders, etc. it's great. there 1 problem. if user on windows machine (authenticated mapped sharepoint od credentials) creates folder, nobody can delete folder. mac users can add files, delete files, etc. if empty folder of contents , try , delete folder itself, says not allowed. or, worse, client machine's finder flips off of folder after delete command, gets weird, , folder remains (this weird behavior does

so i'm running on out space on macbook (250 gig ssd) , want upgrade el capitan. don't want upgrade have, since i'm sure there's tons of junk on drive don't want. i'm making new 35 gig partition install el capitan on. then, backup rest of hard drive time machine. plan once i'm happy el capitan, i'd delete old yosemite partition, since data backed in time machine anyway. i'm not sure how that's going work. once delete old partition, , give el capitan whole 250gigs, if turn on time machine, want delete on backup drive first, right? or recognize backups yosemite, , want use those? it's once yosemite, need partition backup drive yosemite backup, , el capitan backup. copy few things want yosemite backup manually hard drive, , set other half of backup drive new time machine backup. of make sense? feel i'm missing here, because seems awfully convoluted.

transferring pages doc ipad. ipad , itunes has latest ios update. mac running updated yosemite. have transferred pages docs between ipad , mbp before without issues. in itunes i'm trying add pages text document mac used on ipad via itunes. in itunes ipad connected mac, selecting ipad, , scrolling app file sharing page pages selected, have dragged 2 versions of pages document mac itunes. 1 latest version of pages v5, , identical document altered name created pages '09. in itunes both of these documents appear should. if selection them deletion of if replace them copy, proper dialogs indicates itunes, thinks there. have told itunes synch ipad couple of times. however, on ipad under document section of ios pages, no found. seen this? have suggestion or solution? thanks! update: of note, if convert document pdf, recognized in adobe reader , cloud reader (on ipad), of course, it's no longer conveniently editable.

hey guys i'm long time apple fanboy. apple watch in opinion has failed. feels first retina ipad underpowered , cannot deliver. bought when first released , sold , bought 1 thinking watch os2 make things better nope it's worse. things think make apple watch fail are: 1. hr monitor. have trackers continuous monitors nowadays , far far more accurate. 2. sluggish performance. oh man it's damn slow. opening app takes 3 6 seconds s1 processor isn't great. 3. expensive. it's damn expensive compared other offerings out there. 4. limited watch faces. typical of apple open in future , call feature lol. 5. waterproof , swimming apps! come on pebble waterproof device costs double , doesn't have that.   many agree you...including me , that's why returned suspect others wont agree.   Forums
