MBA top case repair(s)


evening everyone,

sooo....

first week of november last year, mba's space button stopped working, took in genius bar in leicester (from live around 40 miles away). genius bar people have replaced whole keyboard , top case free still in warranty - had wait few hours fixed. literally begged done on day i'm nervous driver , motorways in uk scare living hell out of me...not mention petrol , other expenses.

, happened? week ago mba not power on, tried hard resets , other stuff apple recommended (spoke on chat option). nothing happening got myself booked in @ leicester again...got there today on time, emptied pants (as had drive on motorway again) , gave laptop repaired. diagnosis was:

'after quick look, ipd cable might faulty replace it'

have replaced problem still persisted changed keyboard , top case yet again power button broke (so turns out). year later after new keyboard fitted, needed replaced again! (free off charge it's still in warranty)

has else had same issue? mean, mba not used , it's when use power button itself, how rare same problem occurs in years time? warranty runs out in september next year, if happens again when it's out of warranty? don't want pay 132 pounds repair, when coverage runs out.

give me tips how speak them if keyboard breaks again? (touchwood). told chap fixed bizarre same component broke within year - said if breaks again , out of warranty case can looked @ differently it's broke again etc etc. that's no consolation me...
