Microsoft Working on Fix for Office Bugs in OS X El Capitan

since os x el capitan released public last week, microsoft office users have noticed serious bugs when attempting use software. macrumors has received multiple emails people having issues office 2016, , there several threads problem on our forums.

word, excel, outlook, , powerpoint crashing many microsoft users have installed office 2016, , office 2011 users noticing problems outlook.

microsoft aware of problems software , has been responding customer complaints. in thread on the microsoft forums, microsoft program manager faisal jeelani said company working apple resolve issues, said there no timeline fix. microsoft gave computerworld similar statement:
customers running office 2016 running wide variety of problems. seeing occasional crashes software, while others unable open office 2016 apps @ all. many use outlook email unable access inboxes, , particular issue affects both office 2016 , office 2011.
microsoft's first support replies came shortly after os x el capitan released, means company has been working on fix several days now, not clear when patch might released. many customers on microsoft forums growing angry company because microsoft had several months work out crashing issues ahead of os x el capitan's release. crashes , office 2016 problems first reported during beta testing period remain unresolved.

update: microsoft spokesperson has told macrumors fix in works.
