hi guys,
i'd figure i'd ask mac consensus if monitor work mac.
have macbook pro retina (macbookpro10,1) nvidia geforce gt 650m 1024 mb gpu, 16 gigs of ram. running 10.11.2.
it's never clear cut answer if mac has enough graphical horsepower support these types of new monitors.

i'm not sure if there limit on hdmi out on macbook pro hertz wise or resolution. if have other suggestions, in 200-300 dollar price range, offers color reproduction, decent black levels no ghosting, off brand aoc or something, i'm ears.
those should work fine though has displayport , hdmi. i'm partial dell ultrasharps, warranty , performance. 1 http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&sku=860-bbdy has 1xmdp, 1xdp, , 2x hdmi. know aren't fastest monitors around color pretty good.
