Push notification pop up


hi

i'm making app uses both local , external (not sure correct term) push notifications.

notifications appear on notifications drawer (and doesn't make sound if app running on foreground), makes them pretty unnoticeable user.

how can customize push notification layout? can pop-up instead of in notification bar? (similar how new message pops on screen when received).

please tell me shell do.
