Re-linking a user on a separate drive


so mac has started acting , need reinstall osx (10.9.5) , apps. time consuming , frustrating, doable.

now, mac pro consists of ssd osx , apps while users on separate hard drive. far remember, when set computer first time created users on ssd copied home folders (except 1 logged in @ time) on separate hard drive.
opened "users & groups" system preference , right clicked on 1 user @ time ("advanced options...") change path of home directory.
when had working delete home folders on ssd, of course no longer in use.

time home folders on hard drive full files etc. sufficient change path home folder, or have create new user scratch , copy on hard drive did, copy files, settings etc. over?
i'm concerned more advanced stuff haven't touched uuid, user id etc. if change path, again i'm concerned might miss file or folder if have create users scratch copy files , settings over.

Resolved why bool value is not changed in dispatch
