Carrier Would Verizon's home LTE be just as fast as mobile LTE?


been unhappy isp past few months. switch cable isps 1 available in area. leaves me satellite or lte internet services. have verizon iphone 6s , around 80mbps download , 30mbps upload. let's local verizon store hasn't answered of questions...

know if lte modem , plan delivers same speed mobile data plan iphone? standard modem's specs rated @ gigabit speeds whereas iphone 6s rated @ 300mbps. advertise having 5-12mbps download , 1mbps upload, regular mobile data plans , lot more.
 

it looks speeds pretty same, glorified mobile hotspot in fixed location. speeds same.

worry me more pricing: $60 measly 10gb, , $15 gigabyte after that. @ lte speeds you're getting, use monthly allotment in 17 minutes. nature, having laptop or desktop computer means you're going using lot more data. last week had os/ms office updates took 3gb.
