Do I need to have a sim card to activate my iPhone 6s Plus?


right main phone google nexus 5. uses micro-sim card. bought ip6s+. have been busy work , haven't had time go out , nano sim card. opened packaging , turned on phone, won't let me home screen. there other way or i'll need have sim card inside in order activate phone , home screen?
 

yeah believe so. first smartphone doesn't function 1 out of box without sim.
