samsung 850 pro on my sata2 2009 mbp


i finished installing 512gb samsung 850 pro in 2009 mbp. maxing out @ 278.4 read , 212.1 write im assuming slow because im running sata2, question is, normal? cuz thought max out sata2 , both should max out more close 300mbps. ill appreciate feedback. specs
2.53 ghz intel core 2 duo
ram-4 gb 1067 mhz ddr3
nvidia geforce 9400m 256 mb
 

uh? 278 read pretty maxxing out 300 read. write slower due confirmation exchanges intended written written. specs not relevant, sata 2 bottleneck.
