Late 2012 iMac still worth it?


hi, looking buy desktop supplement macbook air have no storage left , isn't quite powerful enough photo editing , coding needs.

have decided on imac , after visit apple store love 27" model.

used ssd, want fusion drive , 8gb of ram minimum.

have found refurbished late 2012 27" imac 2.9ghz quad-core i5, 16gb ram, 1tb fusion drive , 660m graphics £1000.

new 21.5" 2.8ghz i5, 8gb ram , 1tb fusion (albeit 24gb ssd version) cost me same student discount.

2012 model powerful brand new 2015 model? love screen size, more ssd on fusion , additional ram older model wouldn't want sacrifice on processing power or graphics.

advice appreciated.
 

i'm not familiar uk pricing, seems way high me, same 27-inch 5k base model promotional price @ b&h/adorama.

Fallout 4 Builds- Which ones You Prefer?
