iMac 2007 Black Screen


hi all,

late 2009 era 27'' imac has been acting of late. started yesterday , continued today.

running os x el capitan, whatever highest spec on model was, & ram upgrade.

display shut off computer still on, can hear processor running.

thought might temperature issue , tried download istat pro wouldn't work , i'm @ black screen can't try further.

no issues before this.

continue google around wanted see if had thoughts.

edit: clarify... boots fine, goes black after awhile @ random.
 

get smcfancontrol if istat won't work ya. doubt it's heat though, screen wouldn't go black. when goes black, stay black , never come on? if hard restart (power button) come on right away?

Fallout 4 Builds- Which ones You Prefer?
