RAM problems iMac 20' Early 2008


hello!
have imac replaced ram (1gb) 2 x 2 gb corsair kit.
few days ago noticed computer boots slow (at least 1:30 minutes moment press power button until can start using it).
tried start apple hardware test os, of course without success; used dvd disc 1 , after few seconds after aht started got error
“alert! apple hardware test has detected error.
4mem/4/40000000: 89c3dca8”
know:
1.what problem?
2.what can solve problem
system freshly installed, hdd entirely formatted.
took off ram plates cleaned , blow slots dust dissipate.
lot!
 

ram can , fail, remove corsair ram , install original ram , see if boots (you don't version of os x installed. if it's version requires more 1gb, replace ram either crucial (buy direct) or owc www.macsales.com. upgrade 6gb machine can accommodate.
