General GPS talking over Podcast/Audiobook, is it time to fix this?


i've reached point annoys me greatly, after many years of using ios: when gps app talks on top of podcast/audiobook, can't hear what's being said in podcast/audiobook. have backtrack 30 seconds or repeatedly not ideal while driving.

imagine when gps app keeps repeating stuff need turn, ie can talk 3-4 times same thing in short timeframe. extremely annoying , after years of use, i've reached boiling point.

question is, care this? also, wouldn't awesome if, when gps gives instructions, if momentarily paused podcast/audiobook? technically difficult apple still hasn't done it?

know there jailbreak workaround works apple maps , of course require jailbreaking i'm not fond of.

i've seen couple of other threads here without development, seems no 1 disputes fact pausing nice , desirable (pause on podcast/audiobook, not music). question what's taking apple long, , can else done fix this?

in ios 9.3, apple going add option pause podcasts, audiobooks, or music playing when using maps app. :)

Fallout 4 Builds- Which ones You Prefer?
