guys, have following problem.
macbook pro '13 mid-2009 heating much, decided open , clean it. when disconnected cables logic board , tried remove logic board, screws not because screws difficult unscrew. reassembled whole machine , use noticed backlit keyboard not sparking more , fan running , stopping. worrisome cooler running , leaving mac in danger of overheating.
have idea happened? tried resetting smc several times , not worked. looked see if had cable disconnected correct. have conviction damaged not physically.
you may have damaged part of smc (fan issues) or cables running keyboard (no kb backlight) when tried board out. did remove or bend heatsink/cooler assembly when took board out?
also, when fans starting , stopping, fan stopped (0 rpm) or spinning (2000 rpm)? verify fan rpm can download smcfancontrol or macs fan control. both of these apps show fan speeds , temperatures in system.
