Ethernet to USB connection disconnects after Air sleeps


recently upgraded '11 17" pro top of line '15 13" air.

@ home have wired lan - not wifi - means have connect enet cable via usb port. have usb expansion/enet adapter all-in-one works great.

except - when air sleeps , wakes, internet connection lost , have unplug , re-plug sub expander. dis/re-connecting enet cable usb expanders doesn't work; expander enet plugged in needs disconnected , reconnected computer @ port itself. drive have connected usb adapter does not disconnect.

there reason why happens , how might remedy it?

i've got usb ethernet usb hub built in (3 usb3, 1 gig-ethernet)
this one
reconnects fine.

make / model of adapter using?

Fallout 4 Builds- Which ones You Prefer?
