Boot Camp - Win7 install won't boot from a USB


mid '07 mb, 10.7.5. superdrive stuffed changed info.plist allow usb install media creation. created usb win7 install via boot camp when laptop restarts after partition apple logo flashing prohibitory sign , question mark folder.

install usb doesnt show on option boot, refit wont work either. win7 not boot usb?
 

changing .plist not change actual hardware, unfortunately.
windows expects install optical drive, if 1 exists - if faulty.
usb install should work, may need disconnect internal ribbon dvd drive.

suspect usb "bootable" installer not bootable, , incorrectly created.
should see on option boot, , expect refit should show choice, too, if proper bootable partition.
so, sure following directions create bootable .iso on usb.

Fallout 4 Builds- Which ones You Prefer?
