acer has announced all-new h7 series monitors first support usb type-c, making them compatible apple's newer 12-inch macbook. monitors able charge macbook, transfer data , display content on 1 usb-c cable, eliminating need multiple cables , adapters.

lenovo has announced thinkvision x24 pro , thinkvision x1 first 2 usb type-c monitors, per anandtech. bezel-free thinkvision x24 pro features 1,920×1,080 resolution ips display, usb-c , mini displayport, intel realsense 3d camera, 2 3w speakers , more. monitor starts @ $399 , ships in may.

27-inch thinkvision x1 has ultra-thin 7.5mm design, 3,840×2,160 resolution, usb-c , displayport 1.2 ports, hdmi 2.0, 99% srgb coverage , more. apple's 12-inch macbook includes support displayport 1.2 through usb-c, able power ultra hd monitor @ 60 hz. thinkvision x1 cost $799.
