Auto Update to CarPlay soon?


i have carplay on vw golf , contacted vw issue app control infotainment system. speaking vw responsible car-net (vw's name system runs carplay, android auto , mirror link) mentioned vw in discussions apple around upcoming upgrade carplay.

i've not heard this, or new ios operating system? know update carplay? don't see why vw , apple need discussing upgrade unless it's quite significant.
 

i don't think has implemented of new carplay features added ios 9... talking apple regarding licensing on updated system supports wireless carplay , system apps... current setup not upgradable via software... new features require updated hardware... in talks apple implementing stuff in new cars.

Fallout 4 Builds- Which ones You Prefer?
