Core Storage and a new harddrive..(For Linux)


hi, locked current harddrive corestorage, (somehow, have no clue. tried revert, failed , says unrevertable.) figured stop messing around , buy ssd i've been looking at. plan on cloning contents of harddrive put onto ssd, nervous next drive becoming corestorage well, preventing me being able dual-boot using refind.

know why current drive went corestorage, , how prevent next 1 same fate? i'm annoyed entire corestorage implementation , if knows how remove work.

you fine clone. yosemite , el capitan installer converts drive core storage if mac portable , cpu supports aes-ni. clone not convert target drive core storage.
