Do i need my fan on my Macbook Pro?


i upgrade ssd hard drive , fan making horrible noise. there away can turn off. reason fan cool down hard drive correct? since new hard drive not hot still need it?

the fan there cool cpu,
more knowledgable people can give suggestions fixing problem, don't think replacing fans expensive if come
