mobile payments company square today announced launch of new nfc reader within 100 small businesses around country, letting stores unable accept apple pay -- due lack of required contactless reader -- begin supporting service (via usa today). small square-shaped reader act other apple pay-accepting terminals, letting users wave iphone or apple watch near device complete purchase.
