Something discouraging...LINUX


so received gift same person gave me bunch of other stuff before (a "dead" dell vostro 200). shipped vista business hdd erased, installed ubuntu 14.04.

has 250gb hdd, 2.53ghz core 2 duo, , 2 gb ram , it...a lot actually. it's not os x means far important sites visit load considerably faster, computer boots faster, , gui. apple certification training site works better (and honest main reason why setup)

now, not going forget os x @ all, going make machine hackintosh , put snow leopard on once upgrade ram 4gb. honestly, find surprising given age of computer.

part that's discouraging powermac g5 need update/upgrade.
 

ubuntu, ubuntu mate, lubuntu, run on powerpc, use them on powermac
