Confused about upgrading.


i have 2006 mac. bought really hate windows 10 , wanted nothing further microsoft. trouble is, i'm mad user of second life. mac has nvidia geforce 7300 gt graphics card , have used ati hd 5770 on order.

i've read threads on upgrading mac 1.1 , must admit of way on head. want decent frame rate when on second life @ moment it's choppy , 1 or 2 frames second.

mac 2006 dual core 2.66 ghz (mac says has 4 cores) xeon 8gb ram (should 12 1 bank isn't working), 1 tb hdd. graphics given above. running lion 10.7.5

how frame rate up? there can buy or add? downloadable upgrade perhaps? had "ssd" was, gives idea of computer knowledge.

ideas great....... , 3.1 mac seems retail around on $1500 on ebay (in australian dollars) not option. 1 cost me $400 + $250 or new (used) ati card.

Fallout 4 Builds- Which ones You Prefer?
