iPad mini 16GB = 11.89GB, what!?


i understand overhead , that, given ipad mini 2 christmas. box says 16 gb itunes says 11.89 capacity.

added information on apps in storage panel in settings , came under 3.9 gb, yet says "6.9 gb used" , 4.8 gb available. 6.9 used?? hardly have on it, no videos, no music, no photos, , add storage sizes shown in unit , comes 3.9.

itunes says "other" taking 1.75 gb" deleted bunch of apps , data , synced , now
itunes reports 4.04 gb used other has grown 1.93 gb! deleting bunch of apps , data , adding nothing, "other" grew quarter gig?

having ferrari one-gallon gas tank. on top of gas tank "shrinking".

contrast ipod touch 32gb states has on 29gb capacity. overhead on 32gb less 3 gbs overhead 16gb on ipad on 4gb?

maddening , don't understand what's going on in there.
 

i wanted add have no icloud account or connection going on. no itunes podcasts/videos/music etc or other apps activated.

Fallout 4 Builds- Which ones You Prefer?
