iTunes question


sorry if wrong place ask not find itunes forum..
bought hubby ipod birthday..he has music on windows pc, if downloads itunes music copied making more files , taking space ..ow itunes index music has?
:)
 

there's checkboxes in itunes preferences let choose happens:
keep itunes media folder organized.
and
copy files itunes media folder when adding library.

leaving both unchecked leave music is, , not copy files music folder.

i'm not sure happens if subscribe apple music setup though. far i've been unwilling trust library company $10 month, or free.

Fallout 4 Builds- Which ones You Prefer?
