How do you get push Gmail notifications on Apple Watch?


i have iphone 6s , weekend "upgraded" moto 360 apple watch sport. on iphone, use gmail , use gmail app works , gives me instant notifications moto 360 well.

cannot figure out how work apple watch though. suppose can add gmail stock mail program on iphone, fetch email. apple watch not talk gmail? there tons of apps seem nicely integrated, missing simple key setting or something? hangouts works imessage , other notifications. reason not gmail. thanks!
 

i think need app that'll go onto watch notifications. notifications hit , miss me on reminders go off sometimes.
