Network volumes randomly eject


i have issue when mounted network volumes randomly eject (unmount).

issue affects both time capsule , nas volumes , happens randomly while mac (mac mini 2012 - el cap 10.11.3) sleeping. when mac wakes 1 or both of network volumes no longer mounted.

totally random. days fine when wake mac. other days 1 volume ok , other ejected. 1 day time capsule time it's nas volume.

have local usb hard drive attached/mounted , never has issue. it's network volumes.

have done pram , smc reset , hasn't fixed it.

suggestions? how can trouble shoot this. happening while mac asleep or wakes?
